4. Improvements in the health and sustainability of urban forests in California.
5. Growth in the Policy Council and the regional councils.

Connection to Homeowners and Businessowners
· Local homeowners and business owners can and do have the ear of local decision makers · Local decision makers approve and disapprove budgets, programs, and contracts
· Local decision makers also make up the board of regional agencies (i.e. Councils of Governments) who are developing Sustainable Communities Strategies pursuant to SB 375
· Local decision makers also have the ear of state legislators, as do local homeowners and business owners
