As of January 2011 membership at CaUFC is free! We welcome and encourage your donations, but what we really want is your participation! Please join us as a member and take part in the many benefits:

Our growing membership base shows how many people place value on greening our cities. Please join us – show your support for cleaner air, reduced energy use, sustainable water management and peaceful communities – all at no cost!
We advocate for urban forestry and lead efforts to strengthen policies and programs that enrich and sustain statewide urban greening. We work with policymakers to make sure that they prioritize the use of trees to beautify and sustain healthy cities. Your voice adds to our strength.
You will join a strong regional and statewide network of educators, planners, tree care specialists, policy advocates, and people of all walks of life. You will be invited to participate in regional and statewide tree plantings, workshops and conferences and you will know just who to ask about integrating trees into your city’s landscape, engaging your community in urban greening, and strengthening urban forestry policies. We also have links to other organizations on our website so you’ll always have the latest information on practical elements of urban forestry and tree care.
You will have fun along the way! With your membership, you will enjoy discounts to all our major events at which we promise you a sense of friendship and community. We are, at heart, a grassroots organization that relies on individual members like you to make a difference. Join us today to help green our cities.

Urban Forestry professionals have a wide variety of educational opportunities as members. From conferences to its Certified Urban Forester program, CaUFC helps professional maintain their professional standards. CaUFC certification also enhances professionals’ standing in their communities. Individuals, agencies and peer organizations are invited to participate in our program.
