We are always very well represented at several Arbor Day Events each year in our region. Reports and photos from events will be posted here.
SanTree Festival - March 14th, 2009
This year's SanTree Festival was held on March 14th at Mast Park along side the San Diego River in Santee. Numerous native species such as oak and sycamore were planted at this event along with litter cleanups and weed abatement. Congratulations to the City of Santee and SDRUFC council member Annette Saul on being awarded their Tree City USA designation for 2008 and on a highly successful community event.
